Our Offered Services

We offers a range of ABA therapy services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders.

Blue Sky Counseling’s Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Analysts are available to provide individualized treatment in the homes of the families we serve. ABA Therapy in the home is appropriate when involvement of siblings, parents and other family members id part of the behavior plan. ABA service provided at home supports the development of daily living and self-help skills in the child natural environment.

Home-based services also allow staff to implement treatment in the exact setting where the behavior will take place. For instance, teaching a child to use the toilet is most effective when taught in the natural environment instead of outside the home.

Blue Sky Counseling provides collaborative ABA therapy that focuses on support and guidance for all members of your family, and we are dedicated to providing those services in the environment that best suits each child’s needs.

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder often have difficulty demonstrating skills in different environments. To overcome this, we provide services in a variety of settings, including the community setting. Often a community-based setting may be the most appropriate environment for a child if they are able to learn in a naturalistic environment that is less structured and controlled and/or if the behaviors occur most frequently in the community setting. Our Registered Behavior Technicians continue 1:1 treatment plans in your local community. Examples may include working on appropriate behavior at the store, behaviors at the park or how to order at a restaurant.

When the ABA therapy is provided in coordination with other behavioral health providers and educators, the outcomes of the interventions are more significative. From classroom consultation to professional support, our clinicians are experienced in collaborating with school districts to ensure better outcomes for students, teachers, and other school district professionals.

Blue Sky Counseling Board Certified Behavior Analysts conduct classroom consultation to work directly with the teacher and support staff to enhance the overall functioning of their classroom to benefit all students, not just those students with autism. Consultation topics may include, but are not limited to, classroom design, whole group and/or individual incentive and reward systems, and teaching methodologies and supports that help students with special needs learn and reach their potential.

Many students with autism require additional support to learn in a classroom setting. Our professional and experienced team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts can work together with educational team members to develop and support the implementation of student-specific behavior and learning plans.

AT Blue Sky Counseling, we considered as early interventions a critical process in the identification and treatment of behavioral issues in our young children.

Assessment: For our younger clients, we use a variety of developmental tools specifically designed to understand how your child is progressing in relation to age-appropriate developmental milestones.

ABA treatment delivery is planned and arranged specifically to each child and family. Blue Sky Counseling professionals provide parent education and training considering goals and values of the family as well as dynamics of the home.
